MASON FLORENCE (Producer)
A native New Yorker, Mason moved to Thailand in 2002 after 12 years in Japan. He is the founder of Talisman Media Group and publisher of Bangkok 101 magazine and the Bangkok Art Map (BAM!).
A former travel writer for Lonely Planet, he also worked as a Kyoto-based correspondent for The Japan Times newspaper and still contributes to a number of international publications. Mason was the executive director of the Mekong Tourism Coordinating Office, which works to promote sustainable tourism in the six countries along the Mekong River.
Mason was also Southeast Asia Chair for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants until 2018.
FILIPPO CASSABGI (Executive Producer)
Originally from Italy, Filippo has worked in Asia Pacific for the past 8 years being based in Melbourne SG and Bangkok. At the beginning of his career he moved to UK where he got his master degree and where he started working in the food & beverage division for Marks & Spencer.
Back to Italy and in Milan, in 2005 he began working with Sanpellegrino Nestle’ Waters, in the International business unit, organizing also gastronomic events and engaging with top Chefs and gastronomy partners. In 2011 a new challenge into Sanpellegrino took him to Australia and then Singapore responsible for the business and sales development across 12 markets in Asia.
Based in Bangkok now, Filippo since 2016 is an external consultant for Sanpellegrino managing the water business in Thailand alongside with his new ventures, Gastronauts Asia (co-founder with Mason Florence focus on gastronomy events and media) and his beverage trade company, Liquidfusion Pte Ltd (wine trading business with distribution also in US and Canada).
ARLEI LIMA (Director/Cinematographer)
Born in south of Brazil, Arlei started his connection with video and photography through skateboarding. First studies in documentary where 2008, in Curitiba. But was in the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he graduated in Cinematography, and worked in the independent film industry, in the camera and lightning department, mainly as Steady cam operator.
In 2014 he got into the food industry, working with bars and restaurants in Brazil, developing content for social medias. Meanwhile also developing some authorial work in collaboration with, skaters, local street artists and companies as Red Bull.
In 2016 he created HOS Creative Studio , focused only in Hospitality industry, working manly in Asia, also in Europe. With HOS the content was divided between photos, promotional teasers and short documentaries, collaborating with companies such as AirBnB, Follow Productions (NY), ChilliPop (BKK), RAW Magazine, Bangkok 101, TWO Magazine,The Foodalist and Gastronauts Asia.
